Categories below describe differing use cases for displaying Drupal Project/Product, Drupal Association, Drupal Community, and DrupalCon logos or wordmarks, and how each should (and should not be) used.
The Drupal Project & Drupal Product
When describing the Drupal project as a whole — such as the history of the project, the Drupal community/contributors, or the ecosystem that has grown around it — use this Drupal wordmark. Likewise, when referring to Drupal core, contributions, design and the like, use this Drupal wordmark. Include the trademark whenever possible.
Drupal as a software platform/Drupal by version
When describing Drupal as a software platform, or if you need to indicate a specific version of Drupal, you can use the evergreen Drupal logo, either in combination with the wordmark, or standing alone.

The Drupal Community
As a whole, the Drupal Community should be represented by this community-created logo, fondly referred to as the "Druplicon." It can also be manipulated for use in other Community promotional contexts; for a Drupal Camp logo, for a localized user group, and other similar iterations that further the spread of Drupal (as illustrated below). Additional Druplicon art can be found on the unofficial Communiy site Druplicon.org.
The Drupal Association
The Drupal Association is the 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to unite a global open source community to build, secure, and promote Drupal. When referring to the Association itself, the full drop logo and text with trademark should be used together. In cases in which space is at a premium, the drop logo alone may be used.
About the Drupal trademark
Drupal is a registered trademark of Drupal project founder Dries Buytaert. For more detailed information about allowable use of the trademark, please consult the trademark policy.
DrupalCon
The annual events known as DrupalCons have their own branded logo(s), which are designed to incorporate a Drupal drop, and made available for sharing within social media for each conference.
