Does Mailchimp work with Domain Access? I tried assiging a newsletter to each domain as I save, but it doesnt seem to do anything? Is there a way to assign one newsletter to each domain?

Exploratus CreditAttribution: Exploratus commentedHow do I make it so a Newsletter is automatically assigned to users of a certain domain? I have it so users can select from one of the various domain newsletters, but Ideally, I would want it so people are automatically added to one of the newsletters, depending on which domain they signed up from.
i have been trying to get this functionality to no avail.

SoCalCreations CreditAttribution: SoCalCreations commentedI have a similar issue, but with the API-KEYs. I am VERY willing to work with the authors and I have been documenting my progress here -> http://groups.drupal.org/node/78583
My Purpose, dear author... is to set up a one time site that runs multiple domains...this will be a squeeze page type of marketing site, which is where mail-chimp comes in to play. Each new domain (set up as subdomains) has a different mail-chimp account and therefore API-KEY.
If it takes a donation to make you consider this please contact me via email for negotiations at william@socalcreations.net.
I really appreciate your time.

levelos CreditAttribution: levelos commentedThe status "needs review" implies there's a patch, which there isn't :) I'm not working with Domain Access and this is not on my near term road map. If someone wants to contribute a patch, as a sub-module, I'm happy to evaluate and include.

EKM CreditAttribution: EKM commentedHi, I've written a patch to add domain awareness to this module. If the domains module is not loaded, the domain aware code is skipped completely. Anyone feel like reviewing it? :)

mealto CreditAttribution: mealto commentedI am seeing an issue with the Mailchimp module and Domain Access as well. Seems to break after you have more than 1 subdomain added.
1. The signup form no longer syncs to Mailchimp.
2. The Drupal user account subscription area (where you check the box) shows the latest Mailchimp list that was saved inside the Drupal mailchimp config page and not the correct subdomain that the user is on.
Can someone verify the last patch posted?

joostvdl CreditAttribution: joostvdl commentedI've created a patch for 7.x to have domain access support for mailchimp and mailchimp lists.
I don't have MailChimp Campaign running anywhere so I don't have looked in to that. Maybe someone can pickup the patch file and look into campaign to add also domain support.

I'm having trouble getting any of these patches working. Specifically, on the Global Settings form, the Mailchimp API Key is not being saved. Can anyone help?

amytswan CreditAttribution: amytswan at ThinkShout commented“And now our watch [for support of the 7.x-2.x version of the MailChimp module] has ended…” With the approaching deprecation of MailChimp’s API version 2.0, I’m sad to say we too must turn the page. This branch will become unsupported in early October and officially deprecated by the end of this year (2016).
Fret not! The 7.x-4.x and 8.x versions come highly recommended. Both are using Mailchimp’s new API 3.0 and are being actively maintained. If you find this issue still exists on either the 7.x-4.x or 8.x branches, let us know by opening a new ticket. “What is dead may never die, but rises again, harder and stronger!”
