Task Project NID is no longer available in the Fields pull down. I need it!! (grin). I installed the latest up date and now it's gone. I saw the comment that views may need to rebuilt.

By the way, "Storm Task: Tasl Billed" has a typo.

P.S. - What is the "Step" field used for in Storm?

This issue could be a good one to start patching from. It sounds like simple typos.

The changes need to be made in stormtask.views.inc (stormtask folder), and you may find stormtask.install useful (the schema in particular).

The step field is free text - up to the individual site admin as to what to do with it.

Is there a link to the previous version of Storm?

Patch to correct typo.

As far as I can see, the task project nid is still present but now named simply "Project".

Can you please confirm?

Committed patch for typo.

Please reopen if the confirmation of #5 is negative.

Doesn't work. True it has project available in pull down, but it is the project title only, not task_project_NID. My link returns a page not found error when I click on it. I've been on holiday all week, so haven't been able to do much w/ this.

Thanks for response.

Reopening to keep this active.

I'll take another look.

Could I ask what you're using it for? It may be that there is an alternative way to do it.

Wes Ashworth’s picture

Using it in a task list view. Grouping on Projects. I use this view during staff meetings while we go down the list of "to do's" for each project. I want to be able to click on the project header if I need to to go to the project view.

I reinstalled vs 1.34 over 1.35 and am still not seeing the Task_Project_NID. I noticed the last update date for this version (and all the other earlier versions) is 12-24-2010. I'd like to roll back to vs 1.34 that was available 6 wks ago +-. Please help.

Ignore the last modified dates on the releases. I believe all downloads were refreshed on the 24th to allow for the zip download. The content should be the same as previous.

If the 1.34 version was when it was last working, then you should be able to use that. Ensure that you have cleared caches.

However, I do think the best way is to solve this going forward rather than heading backwards.

Wes Ashworth’s picture

It was the cache. Thanks!

I've reproduced this bug. It is a regression.

Bug fix would go into 2.x then patch for 1.x -> changing version.

I will try to investigate a fix when I have time.

Anything happening on this issue? I'm blocked from installing any upgrades until it is.
Thanks!

Am cracking through the bug list, so will get back this as time permits.

I've found out how to do this using the existing code and views relationships.

In the view where you used to use the project nid, add the relationship "Storm Task: Project". Now, you can add all fields from the project to your view as well. So to add the project nid, simply add node - nid to the view, and in the options, tell views to use this relationship that you have just set.

For more info on views relationships, see http://views-help.doc.logrus.com/help/views/relationship .
