This plugin is awesome!

Thus far, I've gotten the the Flexslider to work with views_slideshow. It's set to slide, and works in every browser except the newest versions of Chrome and Safari.

So, it loads fine initially, but freezes on the second slide and no-longer becomes responsive in those browsers.

Can anyone else confirm this with their installs?

I was using Flexslider 1.8 ... switching to Flexslider 1.7 and using the un-minified version fixes this issue for me. From what I read in the update, the bug I experienced probably has something to do with the new webkit update they made.

Can you confirm this is a problem with the Flexslider library? Try the demo page on the flexslider site http://flex.madebymufffin.com/demo/

I'm going to close this. If you're still having an issue with the latest build feel free to reopen.

Thanks

I can definitely say that it locks up with Chrome, but only Chrome on Linux, not on Windows (have not tested it on mac, but I haven't heard of this problem from Mac folks.)

It's not a huge deal, since that's not one of the most popular configurations, but it's the one I use for development. I have seen it lock up on two separate drupal installs.

Well since this is a library issue with Flex Slider (and not limited to the Drupal implementation) I'm going to have to close this. You can contact WooThemes and see if they can fix the issue.

I'm using a Windows 8.1 machine and Google Chrome 31.0.1650.63.

On my development site, I noticed the problem that clicking the left/right slider arrows doesn't work (it doesn't change the slide).

Not trusting my work, I found an old issue (https://drupal.org/node/1359776) which mentioned two sites using Flexslider.
The URL's are:

http://www.texturecase.com/
http://flex.madebymufffin.com/demo/

With my configuration (Windows 8.1/Chrome 31.0), I see the Flexsliders on these pages rotate through their slides but the left/right arrow functions don't work.

When viewing these same sites on a Windows 7/Chrome 31.0.1650.63 (same version of Chrome) the arrow controls on the sliders work fine.

As mentioned previously in this thread, I guess this is a Flexslider library problem, not a Drupal module problem.
