I noticed that if there is a list required for a certain role, removing that role from a member doesn't remove him from the list. Can this be changed so that the required list will only allow members who currently have that role to be on the list?

I second this one. Changing a users role should remove from that required list and move to another if setup. Example: Changing role from Prospect to Customer should update Mailchimp list(s).
