How to add Sidebar position to Theme setting variable

Hello

Under

Multilingual settings > variables >theme settings

I have my "golobal theme settings" as well as "theme settings" selected and saved.

However the sidebar position within my theme wouldn't become language specific.

I am usuing the more fancy themes such as Adaptive themes. and I think they have too manu bells and whistles added to the backend ...

Should I manually add an extra variable in order to have the sidebar positioning also Language specific?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated
