Release notes

Work on version 2 is focused on Issue #2084267: Allow using MathJax as a input filter for text formats, rather than a global filter.

This release is being made to invite testers to review and open issues as necessary. Please add comments to Issue #2084267 unless you find unrelated problems.

The main changes you will note are:

  • Path-based MathJax library activation is removed.
  • There are now two configuration states: Text Format and Custom
  • If you upgrade from version 1, your current configuration will be considered Custom.
  • The new default configuration, Text Format, sets up a MathJax text filter that must be applied to the text format of your choice.
