First of all i would not like to miss the opportunity to congratulate astha for coming out with this module. In fact i was working on the same module with Merc (http://drupal.org/project/opensocial). It would be a lot easier now contributing to this module by fixing patches and upgrading this to drupal 6 version.
Bravo Astha !!!!!
Ok, I tried running compliance test gadget on the setup before i thought to dig into the code, as compliance test could have helped me identify the places to dig into on shindig side.
Unfortunately it failed on IE. On firefox i was able to get it up and running but the canvas view could not be scrolled. SO i am attaching the compliance test report which i finally saved as a html page.
I wanted to just update on the same so it could help all to rectify those errors. From the screen shot it is visible that , it is not setting the ownerId and viewerId which is reason for couple of failures.
Would come up soon with the patches to fix them.
Any update would make things more clearer.
Cheers
Peeyush

peeyushgulati commentedSorry forgot to mention.....
I tried this on shindig cut for 5th september (revision number 692270) . As it was mentioned in the readme file that it was tested on the same.

chabotc commentedReally great piece of work, having OpenSocial support in drupal is very exciting stuff!
I have a more general suggestion: php-shindig until recently had aprox 18 errors in the container compliance test suite, if you'd update to the latest php-shindig code (which has json-rpc implemented) and partuza glue code (which you seem to be using?) you should be able to bring this down to about 5 (same errors as orkut and hi5 still have, ie where i'm suspecting the error is in the test and not in shindig).
If you need any help with that, feel free to ping me!

ramsharma2005 commentedHi Peeyush,
Thanks for the good words :)
I am happy to see the issue logged, which gives me the impression that users have started using this module !!
I tried running the gadget at my end. My reports are bit different than yours. And I was also able to run the gadget on IE successfully.
I will try using the latest shindig code, and then see if we can lessen/remove the failures.
Will keep you posted.

ramsharma2005 commentedHi,
We are not maintaining Drupal 5.x.1.0 module anymore.
Although, we have resolved the issue in Drupal 6.x module which we are going to release soon. The code is up in the SVN, complaint with Shindig incubating release 1.0.
Please let us know if you face any issues in Drupal 6.x module.
Note: attached is the screen shot of drupal 6.x module with 0.8 compliance test results.

ramsharma2005 commentedHi,
We have done the Drupal 6.x module release. As already said we will not be working on Drupal 5.x module, so marking this issue as won't fix.
