Yes Fusion supports Panels just as any other theme does. Acquia Marina was just updated to allow it's custom block styles to work as Panels and Fusion Core also supports that. So you can build your site with Fusion and through Skinr it would allow your custom styling to be enabled.

Skinr styles work great with panes in Acquia Prosper as well as custom subthemes. Custom Panels plugin styles are not a problem in Drupal 6 subthemes, including Fusion. There is however a bug in Panels 6.x-3.3 that will not apply Skinr classes to panes if you use the "Update and Save" button. You need to use the "Update" button first, then after the ajax magic, push the "Save" button. Hopefully this will be fixed in Panels soon, but I know it's causing some people to think that Skinr and Panels are incompatible in their theme. The Fusion gang has done a fantastic job of supporting Panels.

brentratliff, thanks for the clarification, that's totally correct and well explained. We're hoping to support more Panel styling in our themes in the future as well as take a closer look at Panels Everywhere.
