Synopsis
The Admin Status module allows certain messages to be shown on the top of the page to users with the right permission. For example, the settings can be configured to show a message on the top of the page if the database needs to be updated (e.g. drush updb).
Here is an example of Admin Status showing all errors and warnings from the core status report page:

Recommended modules
- Timed Messages: When enabled and configured, the messages will minimize after a certain time so they do not take up so much space at the top of the page. This screenshot shows what the minimized messages look like:

Roadmap
We are currently working on the Drupal 8 version. The Drupal 7 version will happen after a basic D8 version is at least in beta.
