AI Checklist

This module is included in DXPR CMS.

A guided setup wizard for Drupal's AI stack. AI Checklist tracks which AI modules are installed and configured, giving administrators a single page to manage the entire AI onboarding process.

You need AI Checklist if

• You are setting up AI features for the first time and want a clear roadmap
• Your site uses multiple AI modules and you need to verify they are all configured correctly
• You want a single admin page that links directly to each module's download, installation, and configuration
• You are onboarding a new team member who needs to understand which AI features are active

How It Works

Navigate to /admin/config/ai/ai-checklist and the module automatically detects which AI modules are installed. Each section groups related tasks: initial API setup, image features, content features, content analysis, and privacy. Completed tasks are checked off automatically; manual tasks can be ticked as you go. Progress is saved between sessions.

Getting Started

1. Install with Composer:
   composer require drupal/ai_checklist
2. Enable the module:
   drush en ai_checklist
3. Navigate to /admin/config/ai/ai-checklist and start working through the sections

FAQ

Does AI Checklist install AI modules automatically?

No. AI Checklist is purely a tracking and guidance tool. It detects which modules are already installed and provides direct links and Composer commands for the ones that are not. You remain in control of what gets installed and when.

Can I use AI Checklist without DXPR CMS?

Yes. The module works with any Drupal 10 or 11 site. It is included in DXPR CMS for convenience, but it can be installed standalone on any Drupal site where you plan to set up AI features from the Drupal AI module ecosystem.

Does the checklist reset when I update modules?

No. Your manually checked items are saved in the database and persist across module updates. Auto-detected items reflect the current state of your site: if a module is uninstalled, its checklist item reverts to unchecked automatically.
