cleanslate and maybe box_grey show the breadcrumb at bottom. i have never ever seen a site do that. i always forget that it is there. consider doing this at top left, as is standard now.

There are already a lot of navigational elements at the top of the page: primary links, secondary links, navigation menus and other menu's in blocks in the sidebars. But where the content is long and the reader has reached the bottom of the page, those navigational elements are left behind and can only be reached by scrolling up.

That's why I put the breadcrumb at the bottom, it gives the
reader a way back without scrolling. It may well be that it needs to be made more obvious, but I'm not keen on putting it at the top.
