I'm aesthetically-dumb and can't really explain it in good terms, but I like clean and simple designs and box_grey just feels right to me. I do, in particular, like the colour scheme of box_cleanslate.

I've applied quite a few other themes, but inevitability come back to box_grey/cleanslate. Even tried (awkwardly) to implement the colour scheme of box_cleanslate into the Clean Theme (http://drupal.org/node/905838) but it didn't turn out well.

Is there any chance that you would port the box_cleanslate colour scheme to a similar theme...?

I have been contemplating that yes. It would probably be the 'Clean' base theme, which itself isn't fully ported to drupal-7 yet.

So I may well do that, but it won't be for some time, probably early next year at least. But then D7 isn't out yet :)
