Having tried CKEditor previously via the wysiwyg api module, I wasn't impressed (menus were all jumbled up). Have now install this and I find it mostly very good, quite easy to configure and it's html formatting is much better than I found with TinyMCE.

However, I still have a couple of issues (or maybe this should be "requirements"):

1. Is it possible to load a set of custom menu icons and smileys etc? One thing I've never liked about CKEditor is the quality of it's menu icons....they seem to look really quite rough to me. I can live with this if it is something hard to achieve.

2. How can I create a simple document template and have it load in the editor at startup? This is quite important.

3. This might be a toughie, how can I make the editor menu float above the page? (Just like the headings on the Drupal Admin/User/Permissions page).

All in all, it's taken me a while to reach this choice of RTE, but think I'm going to be happy I did.

Thanks

Also, when in rich text view, what is displayed is not quite what you get as final output. In the final output extra non-breaking spaces are inserted producing extra blank lines that are not desired. Un-ordered lists are not displayed correctly in rich text view (the bullets are not displayed), ordered lists display correctly.

PS. If these issues / requirements are best met by the CKEditor developers please feel free to point me in their direction.

Thanks.
