This module allows to store commerce purchased entities SKU in order items as asked in the following issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce/issues/3005944.
Configure
- Visit the module settings form to save your preferences.
- Edit the order item type of your choice and select "Store purchased entity SKU" in traits.
- Depending on your SKU setting strategy, you also may want to hide the SKU field in the "Manage form display" tab.
