ONLY TO BE USED IN DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTS FOR THE TIME BEING!
The Commerce Quick Ship Form module embeds a form on the order view page for orders that already have at least one shipment.
The form allows you to quickly do the following things without navigating away from the order page:
- Set the tracking number for a shipment.
- Set the tracking carrier if the commerce shipping carrier module is enabled.
- Select shipment items to be included in the shipment.
- Set shipment item quantities.
- Edit existing shipments.
- Create subsequent shipments.
- Set the shipment state.
When a new subsequent shipment is created, the form is prepopulated by the shipping items and quantities that have not already shipped. So if an order contained 5 apples, 3 bananas, and 2 oranges, and the first shipment had 3 apples, 2 bananas, and 1 orange, the next shipment quantities would be prepopulated to 2 apples, 1 banana, and 1 orange.
Note: New shipments that are created are based on the most recent shipment's package type, shipping profile, shipping method, and service for the time being. See https://git.drupalcode.org/project/commerce_quick_ship_form/-/blob/1.0.x...
The module also works with commerce_shipping_carrier module.
