This project is not covered by Drupal’s security advisory policy.

This module provides a foundation for developing integrations between the Commerce and Group ecosystems. The three main use cases that build on top of it are:

Features

Group content

Group content enabler plugins are (or will be shortly) provided for the following commerce-related entities, allowing them to be added as content to groups.

  • Orders
  • Price rules
  • Products
  • Profiles
  • Promotions
  • Shipments

Shopping context

The Context submodule introduces the concept of a shopping context. The shopping context is a group that user is a member of, such as a customer buying group or an organization. A user can be member of more than one groups, and when logged in there is always one active shopping context that the user is acting on behalf of. When the user adds products to the cart, a cart for the active context is created and other users members of the context can have access to it and complete the checkout.

Compatibility

  • Branch 1.x is compatible with Group version 1 and Drupal core versions 8/9
  • Branch 2.x is currently under development and will be compatible with Group version 3 and Drupal core versions 9/10+

Follow #3421999: Provide compatibility with Group version 3 for branch 2.x. Right now only the Product submodule has been ported i.e. only enable that submodule; the others still depend on Group v1.

Sponsorship & Development

Development of this module heavily relies on sponsorship. If you are interested in helping move things faster you can contact the module maintainer(s) privately. If you are a developer you can create issues in the module's issue queue and we will provide guidance as time permits
