This module provides a predefined and configurable block which can be easily enabled and disabled in case of a crisis or any other situation which needs immediate communication.
Usage
Configuration
- Install the module as usual. A new block will be added to the content region. The Block is disabled and nothing will be shown on the website after installation.
- Visit the configuration page /admin/config/system/crisis_mode
- Configure as needed and save (caches will be cleared).
- Done (as long as there is no crisis communication needed)
Activate the Crisis Situation
In order to activate the previously configured block you have two options:
- Visit the settings page mentioned above and tick the checkbox saying Crisis Situation. Save!
- Use drush:
drush crisis-mode on
Both methods will make the block visible and clear the caches. Untick the Crisis Situation to disable it again or use Drush: drush crisis-mode off.
