I'm not sure if this is related to Menu Settings per Content Type or the upgrade to Drupal 6 I recently did, but here's my problem:
I give publishers the ability to edit "book" pages and only allow them to link those pages to the "book" menu. If I have a page that is linked from the book menu, but I also linked it from another menu (e.g. primary links), when the user edits the page and clicks save, the link to that page is removed from the primary links.
If I go to /admin/build/menus and re-add the link, it seems to work fine from then onwards.
Has anyone had a problem with links disappearing if the page is linked from two or more menus?

I added several content as menu item in allowed menu and a few days later, I notice that all items were removed from that menu without any related user action.

dmsmidtI have exactly the same problem.
If you have a second manually added menu item pointing to a node, this menu item will be removed after updating the node.
It seems fairly critical to me, since it breaks my production sites.
