Vedic Date Formatter provides a customizable PHP date format character that provides the muhūrta accounting for sunrise and timezone. More information on muhūrtas here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhurta.

On the configuration page set the replacement character, defaults to 'q', and override any of the muhūrta names.
