We need an accessible venue for DDI Camp in June 2021.

We need someone to take point to research venue options/accessibility/costs and report back to the group.

  • 22 June 2021: We will use Zoom with website pages to link people to the right areas of the camp.

If we want to go with one of the cute little things like gather.town, we were just playing with a different one the other day at amazee.io, another conference was using it and we wanted to see if we could host it on lagoon (we could). If we needed a platform, I could find out more about that and if we could provide it.

DyanneNova suggests zoom + gather.town. She met with the team at gather.town and they have focused on accessibility.

Pricing depends on all kinds of factors, but a rough estimate could be put together using $6/user/day.

Next week we'll have the opportunity to vote on this and make a decision.
