Updated Configuring Blogs page for D7. Addressed issues marked under comments. Comments on this page need to be deleted. Do we need to open a fresh issue for deleting comments?

I reviewed the page http://drupal.org/documentation/modules/blog .

Under "About this Page" -> "Drupal Version" showing "Drupal 8.x" ? seems to be not ok. As here content is showing (steps) for D5,D6 and D7 versions only (not covered D8).

Correct me if I am wrong, or currently this is for D7 only and we need to upgrade for D8 ?

this page must be updated for D8

as the functionality will not change very much we should be able to keep all versions on this page (in contrast of creating a separate page for D8)

Agree, updated the page for drupal 8 as well. Since Blog module removed from D8 core so page updated according to that.

What is the difference between the main page (http://drupal.org/documentation/modules/blog) and the child page http://drupal.org/node/21953 ?

They both seem to cover configuration ....

True, there is repetition. The child page has more details, the main page should be introductory...

I did some cleanup on this page and the configuring blog page. Still needs to be updated for D8.

That page has been already updated. The Blog module has been removed from Drupal core.
