Failure to Access Site After Install (Clean Installation Using Acquia Desktop, Manual and Bitnami - Same Issue All three ways)

Have been unable to successfully install a drupal site since the last release. Used all default settings for Acquia Desktop for site, able to get to installation screens and install site. However when attempting to get to the site - get the following error:

The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\Exception\NotFoundHttpException: in Drupal\Core\PathProcessor\PathProcessorFront->processInbound() (line 43 of core/lib/Drupal/Core/PathProcessor/PathProcessorFront.php).

Note attempted to install alternate image version - using Bitnami - the same error is presented. Have been able before this to create many drupal sites using Acquia Desktop and Bitnami. The problem also occurs on manual set up on top of LAMP.
First tried Drupal Bitnami 8.1.2 image. Received error after trying to install. Ran the uninstall app (deleted mySQL, PHP and local apache. Then ran Acquia desktop for a local site. Received the same error as noted above. Ran Acquia uninstall. Then tried to do manually, received the same error above after the site install.

System - Mac OSX 10.11.5
Drupal sites - creating two multi sites. The problem started with latest drupal download file 8.1.2. Worth noting that creating multi site different databases but sharing same code base.
