Description
This module is designed to make it easy to have your own Planet, a single page that aggregates your user's blogs, on your drupal site. This will appear under the /planet url, and is styled to look like planet.ubuntu.com. This is a forward port of the udplanet module to Drupal 7, but will grow from there.
Settings
This module will let any user to add a feed and attribute it to their user account. If they uploaded an image for their account is will display next to their feed. Administrators can choose to lock feeds so no user can edit them or disable feeds to prevent them from being displayed.
Goal
The goal of this module is simplicity. You enable it, and you have a planet which looks good, end of story. Simplicity makes it easier for groups to enable this on their website as a feature.
Migrating from UD Planet
On initial installation Easy Planet converts your data from udplanet tables and settings to Easy Planet. This should mean that if you had a Drupal 6 UD Planet installation, and migrated your site to Drupal 7, you only need to install Easy Planet on your Drupal 7 site and magically your planet will be back with all your previous settings.
