The entity field permissions modules provide the feature to restrict field content on entity load. The module works only on node entity as of now. Taxonomy and other entities in future scope.
Features
Using this module, Field content can be restricted to specific roles which can be selected while creating content. It will apply on all bundles and blocks.

Run the updb after installation
As of now, after installing this module will it will apply in everywhere.

field_permissions works on bundle level field restriction while this module allows user to select the role access while creating node/blocks.
