This module protects essential nodes from deletion.
Nodes like the homepage, 404 not found page and the 403 access denied page are often configured in the basic site configuration. Therefore it is not desirable that these would be removed by a content manager for example.
What this module does:
- Prevents the homepage from deletion
- Prevents the 404 page from deletion
- Prevents the 403 page from deletion
- Removes the delete button from nodes that are configured as homepage, 404 or 403 page
What this module does NOT:
- Protects individual nodes (that are not configured as homepage, 404 or 403 page) from deletion
To-do's:
- Let a user mark a node as essential so it can not be deleted by other users
