Mile23So the distinction between node_example and node_type_example would be that node_example would implement at least one node type in code. node_type_example shows how to make a node type using only exported config.
If someone wants to demonstrate implementing a node type in code, then we can proceed with that in this issue. It's generally easier to use the exported type, however, so I don't anticipate this issue moving much further. Anyone's welcome to prove me wrong. :-)
