This module extends Drupal's HTML Filter, to allow the ability to use "style" attributes in the CKEditor.
Initially, this module was created to solve the issue of resizing tables inside CKEditor.
We have added a configuration to allow specific styles to be used with this filter, you can configure them from "/admin/config/content/extended-html-filter".
Installation:
- Install module as usual: Install contrib modules.
- Go to Extended HTML Filter Settings (/admin/config/content/extended-html-filter) and whitelist the style attributes you want to use, by default width and height are allowed.
- Go to Text formats and editors (/admin/config/content/formats) and configure the text editor that uses CKEditor.
- Scroll down to (Enabled Filters) and disable (Limit allowed HTML tags and correct faulty HTML) and enable (Extended HTML Filter).
- Scroll down to (Filter Settings) and allow some HTML tags from (Allowed HTML Tags) text field, add the (style) attribute to the HTML tag that you want to use inline style on it and hit save.
