Gravatar in combination with Image Cache Profile does not produce the expected output.

After setting up an image cache profile to be used throughout the website (with settings allowing quite big sized images) and setting a user defined picture, things are represented correctly and the picture output is exactly as defined within the profile. When enabling Gravatar, the module grabs the maximum sizes allowed for the image and uses those as dimensions for displaying the pictures on the site.

This is not exactly what I expected, and being able to give members the ability to chose if they want to use their gravatar image or a locally uploaded one is useful to me. Is it possible to make both modules work together?

Yeah this is not going to be possible until we can get the Gravatars as local images to be processed by image cache. I'm working on that issue this this is a big stopper for the 7.x version of Gravatar.

This is indeed a duplicate of #334630: Cache gravatar images locally as once we get that working this will be automatic.
