Healthcheck is like your site's own personal physician. The Healthcheck module runs in the background of your site and runs over a hundred periodic checks to ensure your site is secure, performing well and adhering to operations best practices. Healthcheck results are shown in a simple action-oriented dashboard so you know the health of your site at a glance.
See the README for more details on configuration.
For more information on Healthcheck, listen to our podcast episode, Introducing Healthcheck, a Physician for Drupal 8.
Comprehensive Website Checks
Healthcheck runs checks in areas of:
- Performance
- Security
- Content
- Site code
- Infrastructure
- Front end & UX
- SEO & analytics
Action-oriented Dashboard
Instead of wading through a lengthy site report, Healthcheck presents check results in an action-oriented dashboard showing you at a glance what actions need to be taken (if any):
- Critical: Fix this ASAP!
- Action requested: Fixing will improve performance and security.
- Needs Review: Should be fixed to bring to best practice standards
- No Action Required: Looks good!
Pluggable Notification System
By default, Healthcheck writes the results of background checks to the Drupal log, but you can also get your Healthchecks via email or in your own Slack (via our Zapier webhook implementation).
Healthcheck relies on the Drupal 8 event system, making it easy to use the Rules module.
Built-in historical reporting
Use Healthcheck's built-in historical reporting to see how your site improves over time. When enabled, reports are saved to the database for your review. Historical reports are powered by views, so you can customize them to your needs.
Extendable site checking
Each site check is a Drupal plugin. If our checks are not comprehensive enough, you can easily write your own plugin to add to the list.
