Port Hierarchical Select module to Backdrop

Thanks for the great module!

A request has been made for this module to be ported to Backdrop. I would like to ask if the current maintainers are interested in porting the module or joining our efforts to do so and become co-maintainers of the Backdrop version of the Invite module.
