Summary
Provide content editor usability enhancement for integration with the insert and wysiwyg modules.
This module provides a new button in wysiwyg editors which when clicked displays an "insert enabled" field in a handy popup. It also disables the regular widget for this field.
Installation
Simple enable and check the following steps below. There is no configuration for this module.
Please make sure that you enable (only) one field with the insert module enabled on it.
Also, ensure that you enable the 'Inline image insert popup' plugin that comes with this module in:
/admin/config/content/wysiwyg/profile/[FORMAT]/edit
Requires the insert and wysiwyg modules.
This module is provided to the Drupal community by a Real Life Digital project.
Possible alternatives
You may find it useful to compare the functionality of this module with:
- Wysiwyg ImageField, which at the time of writing is minimally maintained and has a stable release for Drupal 6 only.
- CKEditor Insert. This module also supports native CKEditor support (i.e. no requirement for the wysiwyg module.)
If there are other module alternatives that people should be aware of, please let me know in the issue queue.
