Layout Styles is a module used to alter the styles for the layout builder.
It alters the configuration form of the core layout builder and provides additional fields along with the core layout builder fields.
It provides two fields Background image and Add class which are used to add the background image to the sections in the layout builder and the classes added in the add class field adds classes to the particular sections div tags.
