Empty entity title while importing

Hi,

I'm using Media 7.x-2.0-alpha4 with File Entity 7.x-2.0-beta1. When trying to add a file using the Flickr URL, I get the following error message:

I followed the setup instructions, have the API keys entered and once I manually fill in the title, I can display the image using the display modes.
This error prevents me from importing images using the Feeds and Media Feeds modules though as I get a large number of files with missing title.

The error happens when importing using Feeds and also when using the /add/file option.
Any workaround or suggestions? I'm not a programmer so need help with this, please.
