I just wanted to ask what about the main menus...
When I open a non-existent page, which gives me a 404, no main menu links appear.
So this way a 404 page looks just exactly the same as before enabling this module. My blocks appeared the same way before too. This means this module doesn't make any sense to me at all, because it doesn't do its main job (not to hide main menu links and blocks)!!
When will this be fixed? So when will the usage of this module make any sense?
For Drupal 6, the 404 Blocks module worked correctly. On its site, I can see the text "Since blocks now appear on 404 pages, but navigational links are still missing, this project is being renamed…"
To be honest, I don't really understand this. Which blocks don't appear on a 404 page? I have 3 different blocks, and they do appear on a 404 page too, even WITHOUT the 404 Navigation module. What is this module then for?
Sk8erPeter, with Drupal 7 core, blocks do appear at error pages, but menus are still missing.
navigation404 should fix this, so that menus will be displayed at error pages.
"menus are still missing.

Yes, it SHOULD fix this, but it doesn't. The "page not found" page was exactly the SAME as BEFORE installing the module, so nothing changed.
On Drupal 6, I used 404 Blocks without any problem, but unfortunately they linked 404 Navigation project for Drupal 7, which doesn't do its main task.... Really interesting.
I haven't inspected the code, because I don't have the time to do that, but this way I find this module pointless.
You need to clear the caches after enabling the module.
When I first installed it, I thought the same thing: "It doesn't work, same 404 page". But after clearing the caches, the menus did appear. The module does what says in the description.
