Error with rules integration : rules_og_group_content_notification [#1315044]

When I install OG and rules I see the following error in rules_og_group_content_notification:

Entity is group content
Parameter: Entity: [node]
Error: The data type of the configured argument does not match the parameter's entity requirement

I think this is related to #1272850: Rules condition for checking if an entity is in a group but I applied that patch and it didn't resolve things.

#1272850: Rules condition for checking if an entity is in a group had some issues, can you please re-check. Are you using Rules 2.0 (official release)? If you still see errors please re-open

Rules 7.x-2.x-dev
OG 7.x-1.x-dev

And I still see the error.

Yeah similar issue, but no answer, has this been corrected in any way? It seems to work well in 2.0, altough a lot of other stuff does not.
