I installed openid on my site (http://ispeakx.com), which runs drupal 5.7. I registered an openid at myopenid.com and it worked on my site. However, my yahoo openid doesn't seem to work. Anyone has success with yahoo? Thanks!

The Yahoo openid is like:

https://me.yahoo.com/a/hH4JdJrHGeuFs5zj6fg56aZrzwMrtjyw--

But Drupal add any more characters to the end:

Here is the solution for Yahoo users: http://www.openvatar.com/node/12

The openid for yahoo doesn't work for me as well. I even tried what xman suggested above, but it still won't work. On the other hand, my wordpress id works. I'm using drupal 5.10 with openid 5.x-1.2.

This issue still exists in the Drupal 6.x core OpenID implementation too.

Hi,

I'm having this problem on Drupal 5.14. OpenID module just wont accept the standard or modified version on Yahoo! OpenID. Doesn't anyone know a fix? It's a real pain!

I get the same problem. When I try to add an openID from yahoo it says: Sorry, that is not a valid OpenID. Please ensure you have spelled your ID correctly. This is happening on 6.9

OpenID works well against Yahoo for me on several Drupal versions that I listed here:

"OpenID form field not showing:"
http://drupal.org/node/378178

Notice the dependency on the combination of JQuery_update version and Drupal core version.
(and a properly functional JQuery_update installation (ref. the files to be copied into the Misc directory)
