What is Phoenix
This module can help if complete reinstall of the site regularly performed during development. Phoenix allows user accounts to be saved in a plain file before dropping database and easily recovers them on new install.
Would be useful for those who works on creation of own distro and prefer compact solution over a fully-featured modules like Features.
Usage
Sample usage scenario might looks like following. Include in rebuild script the commands
drush phoenix-save # to save user info
#dropping db/
#reinstalling here...
drush en -y phoenix # to recover user info in a newly installed site
Very likely that Phoenix can be used to migrate users between simple websites but had never tested for such purpose.
