Feeds Support - Allow Importing or Synchronizing Privatemsgs from/between external sources

Being able to import privatemsg's via Feeds would be an amazing feature. Not only would it allow synchronizing privatemsgs between sites, but it would allow importing privatemsg's from external systems/sources.

In my use case, I would like to import e-mails as private messages via the Mailhandler's Feeds Fetcher/Parser.

Any potential workaround for now? I know that moving to the Message stack would be an option (by using the Feeds Entity Processor module), but the privatemsg module seems to offer more out of the box (without needing to create custom modules).
