Recover is a smart module that works in real-time to monitor and record important events on your site. We've all been there, a new administrator deletes an important node or an account is password hacked and suddenly half of your site is defaced with spam posts and comments. Recover exists because full site backups suck for most day to day problems.
With Recover installed, you can simply choose the Recover option from the Administration menu and select what you want to restore By item or By time. You can recover the content on your site to a previous moment in time, or just roll-back changes by a single user, site-wide. That home page node that went missing? You can get it back too with simple controls. Install Recover now for a painless recovery when you need it.
Please note!
- Recover currently only works to store and recover nodes, other entity types will be supported in the future.
- Recover module needs to be installed to track changes /before/ you need it. Recover can not recover items or undo changes from before it was installed.
- The author knows some other solutions exist for this, but thinks they all completely suck. No offense to other people solving this problem.
