This module makes it possible to exclude certain types of Paragraphs from being indexed in search indexes using Search API framework.
Features
When using a Paragraphs-based layout model for content, it is oftentimes desirable to use the Rendered HTML to index content rather than or in addition to specifying fields within Paragraph types. In many cases, though, content within Paragraph types is not relevant to the current node—for example, Paragraphs containing output from Views, promotional links to other nodes or external sites, or repetitive features that need not be indexed.
Requirements
Configuration
- Add your search server and an index in Search API.
- Enable the "Exclude Paragraphs" processor.
- In the processor settings select the Paragraph types that should be excluded from the active index.
