Shipwire Commerce

The Shipwire Commerce module integrates the Shipwire shipping service with a Commerce store. It provides shipping rates for orders, automated fulfillment of shipments, shipment tracking, and product inventory level synchronization. The Shipwire service is much more than a shipping service. It is a total solution for global product distribution.

How it works

Shipwire is a total replacement for an in-house shipping department. After creating a Shipwire account you send your products to Shipwire's warehouses distributed around the world. When a customer goes through checkout Shipwire will check stock levels in all warehouses and generate optimal shipping quotes. When the customer completes checkout a shipment request is sent and Shipwire handles picking, packing, and shipping the products. At various stages tracking information is updated to keep the customer informed.

Shipping Carriers

Shipwire has partnered with major carriers around the world and automatically selects the fastest and most cost effective shipping options. Shipping rates are typically lower than rates offered to small businesses. Carriers currently include: Canada Post, Con-way, DHL, FedEx, HongKong Post, Hermes, Parcelforce, Purolator, Royal Mail, TGX, TNT, UPS and USPS. The list continues to grow and there are also posibilities to use other Third party carriers if these do not meet your needs.

Reporting problems

This module was developed by Coda. For fastest resolution of problem with the module please report problems to the issue queue on the right and not to Shipwire. Please note that Coda does not have access to your Shipwire account and cannot resolve problems with accounts or individual orders which should be reported directly to Shipwire. When posting issue please make sure to never post your account information.
