menuprofile doesn't work

I installed the current dev version on a newly installed Drupal 7.17 site on my development platform. I can create profiles for page titles, but I cannot create a menu profile. It returns the following error:
Notice: Undefined property: DatabaseStatementBase::$data in _signwriter_unpack_menuprofile() (line 1199 of /.../drupal-7.17/sites/all/modules/signwriter/signwriter.module).
The requested page "/.../drupal-7.17/admin/config/signwriter/signwriter/menuprofile/1" could not be found.
