ABOUT:
This module implements a simple form with text input and submit button. It allows to immediate redirect the user to a page with a GET parameter. e.g.: /some-site-page?myparam=sometext.
Usual Drupal form submission works in 2 steps, it means on form submit we have 2 executions of a page:
- 1st: Send form data to Drupal side to run form submit handler (page on which form located)
- 2nd: Redirect user to some page (if redirect was set, page which was set to redirect to)
Simple search form works without form submission on Drupal side and executes 2nd step only.
Integrated with Search API Autocomplete
USE CASES:
- Simple search form where user enter some text, presses submit button and lands to views search page like
/search?search_api_fulltext=usertext - Form which redirects user to some page (webform, custom, e.t.c.) which expects some GET parameter
INSTALLATION:
