I can't translate that kind of content from the interface translation in card heading in general. When I add the translation it just ignores it.

<p><a href="[message:author:url:absolute]">[message:author:display-name]</a> commented on [social_comment:parent_entity_author]'s [social_comment:commented_content_type] in <a href="[message:gurl]">[message:gtitle]</a></p>

<p><a href="[message:author:url:absolute]">[message:author:display-name]</a> created a topic in <a href="[message:gurl]">[message:gtitle]</a></p>

<p><a href="[message:author:url:absolute]">[message:author:display-name]</a> posted in <a href="[message:gurl]">[message:gtitle]</a></p>

<p><a href="[message:author:url:absolute]">[message:author:display-name]</a> created an event in <a href="[message:gurl]">[message:gtitle]</a></p>

In many text strings with html tags. It's really a problem. Attached screenshots with the problems.

Personally, I have translated all the strings, as presented in the screenshot 2 (in French), but the translation does not appear when browsing the stream or explore activities page in the language.

Is this due to HTML or to the fact that it is indicated that the original language of the messages is the language of the site, whereas it seems rather to be English? (see screenshot 1)

I also just changed the messages in the templates and it keeps showing them to me in English...

Same problem.

I took a look and what happens is that the original config gets updated with the translation but not the translation config under e.g. /config/language/de

If you edit the language configs and perform an import the translations show up.

Could it be caused by installing the site in another default language?
