Curious if this module will be upgraded to Drupal 8 since that is around the corner and there is a search for co-maintainers.

I would love to see a D8 version, but it would likely be a near-complete rewrite. Given that I don't even have enough time to properly maintain the issue queue right now, it looks unlikely that I'm going to have the time to do it myself in the foreseeable future. However it would be great if someone else wanted to work on it, and I would help with reviews/guidance as much as possible.

That said, it's possible my situation might change around July, so it's not out of the question that I could end up building a D8 version before a D8 stable release.
