Will there be a possibility to define a specific splash image for a video in FLowPlayer 3?
Currently the only way to show an image is by defining a background image in the settings of Flow Player 3. This background is shown on évery video.
Will there be an option in the future which gives the possibility to use one of the generated thumbnails or a manually uploaded image as the splash image?

EDIT: Found this, but I'm afraid its depreciated: Preview image when autoPlay is false

knalstaaf CreditAttribution: knalstaaf commentedYes, make sure you have your Video Thumbnail Settings configured as Automatically generate thumbnails or Automatically generate thumbnails, with fallback to manual upload. You can find these settings in the configuration of a video-field in one of your content types (e.g.: "admin/content/node-type/YOUR_CONTENT_TYPE_NAME/fields/field_YOUR_FIELD_NAME").
Once you upload a video, it will generate a couple of thumbnails which will be displayed as a splash image. You can even go further with the generated thumbnail like using it in Views and such.
You can also set the image cache of the spash image in the configuration settings of Flowplayer3 ("admin/settings/swftools/flowplayer3"). Look for "Image cache" and select your preferred setting.
Notice: ffmpeg should be enabled on your hosting server. Look for "Transcoders" in your Video settings ("admin/settings/video/transcoders").
