TrackMyAdmin Content

The TrackMyAdmin module tracks the activity of the modifications performed by the users with the role of Administrator. TrackMyAdmin module provides a dashboard that lists out type(Content/Config) of modifications performed by the Administrative Users.

Why this Module?

In scenarios where multiple teams have the same administrator access to the Website, it becomes very difficult to track the changes against the respective team or user. There are other scenarios where the One Time Login link is generated from the backend(Drush) and respective modifications are made; even in such scenarios it is very difficult to track the users and their respective changes.

By analyzing the reports provided by this module, one can draw inferences from this data and thereby decide

  • What kind of modifications are being performed by the users with the role administrator?
  • Are they valid modifications?
  • If the modifications are valid, should we provide a new role for these modifications keeping it separate from the administrator role?
  • Can the modifications be handled within the Code/Configuration?
  • How can we minimize the administrator user activity overtime?
