Transcoding module seeks to provide a vendor-agnostic API on top of which other modules may expose transcoding services or software.
A transcoding job entity is provided, along with a framework for establishing Media Entity target bundles for the resulting media to be attached.
Drupal 8 implementations:
The Drupal 7 version of the module was tightly integrated with the Codem transcoder, and is not under active development and is not supported.
