this is clearly a support request - since the module works for 1500 people...
and the priority is "minor" because the priority reflects the importance to the community and not the one to you.

if you ask for free advice at least you could take the time to properly state your problem:
- version used (Drupal 6 or Drupal 7 - which I posted yesterday)
- relevant settings such as redirect location, specific conditional actions?
- other specifics to your setup

Same issue for 7. I am also receiving the same issue with 'COD' and 'Check' payment methods so I am not entirely sure whether it is just this module.

ok, in that case sorry for deciding (maybe) too quickly that it is a support request...

since you see it on different modules: please uninstall uc_bank_transfer and see if you still have the problem with the other payment methods.. that would be a good indication that uc_bank_transfer is not to blame :).

my feeling still is that it's a configuration issue - but let's wait and see.

The version is 7.x-1.0-alpha3 that gives you a reasonable idea what Drupal core version we're talking about.
Settings are stock standard. There's no config to explain and nothing unusual required to reproduce the problem.

Modules used were ubercart and uc_banktransfer.

This is not fixed. And it seems like a complete fail , this module is useless if the user cannot checkout.
#7 did not work . Firstly the #17 patch on the link did not pass simpletest which is kind of a concern when working with modules that have to do with the exchange of money. 2ndly that patch is either outdated or completely wrong. the code used in the patch does not exist in uc_cart.module and the other code looks very incorrect. I have not added this because the site is live and i dont see how i can add a patch to code that does not exist.

using the latest ubercart module.

I cant be the only one with this problem can i? I installed ubercart dev and the 3.0 on a default 7.12 install and same problem on both. well the dev version actually had more issues but that comes with most devs. Has anyone got this to work?

just getting redirected back to checkout ... is there some setting i am maybe missing or am i suppose to code something somewhere

oh my hat it worked ... So it turns out that if you install add on ubercart modules before you install the bank transfer it doesnt work , so all i did was .. yip installed ubercart and then bank transfer and then the other modules i am using.

Shot for the module bro , my noobness has gotten the better of me.

So the modules i had to install after the installing first ubercart and then bank transfer was Dropdown attributes (http://drupal.org/project/uc_dropdown_attributes ) and Ubercart attributes in cart ( http://drupal.org/project/uc_attributes_in_cart ) which is actually only in a dev version. I am not using this module anymore and actually didnt end up testing with it but the functionality is kinda minor and not need with this project. That one could have actually be causing some of the issues ( maybe ) although i did first test this just with Dropdown attributes installed first and it did not work.

update .. so i uploaded the site to the server and the problem is back .. so it has to be something with my ISP.. :(

i am not going to reopen this ticket as it does not have much to do with this module .. just have to do more debugging

Oh my hat!!!!! so i havnt slept in a while .. debugging madness going on but i know what it wrong with this and i have know idea why it is but check it.

everything works fine with the bartik theme .. as soon as i use the omega theme the things breaks . I changed themes just before i uploaded and thought that is why it was the ISP .. i remember omega was having a bit of trouble being the administrator theme so it might have something to do with that .. so glad to have figured this out finally.

Doesn't work for me too! I unchecked all the payment modules except bank transfer, cleared caches and there is no submit. The module is unusable for me.
